The real problem with voice assistants isn't that they're underpowered, or that their neural nets aren't sophisticated enough to intuit our requests. It's that user interfaces will always demand your attention whether they're graphical, conversational, or, hell, telepathic.<\/p>\n<p>I know this because, for the past week, I've been using my AirPods to interact with Siri. Not to create timers, launch apps, or add things to my shopping list, but to, you know, get shit done.<\/p>\n<p>In the morning, I slip an AirPod into my ear (just one), double tap it, and ask Siri to read me my emails while I make breakfast, recite the day's schedule while I put away dishes, organize my to-do list while I feed the dog, or help me field and respond to text messages as I pack up my bag and walk to the bus stop. N\u00e3o para criar temporizadores, lan\u00e7ar aplicativos ou adicionar coisas \u00e0 minha lista de compras, mas para, voc\u00ea sabe, fazer uma merda.<\/p>\n<p>De manh\u00e3, coloco um AirPod na orelha (apenas um), dou um duplo toque e pe\u00e7o \u00e0 Siri para me ler os meus e-mails enquanto fa\u00e7o o pequeno-almo\u00e7o, recitar a agenda do dia enquanto arrumo a loi\u00e7a, organizar a minha lista de tarefas enquanto dou de comer ao c\u00e3o ou me ajuda a localizar e a responder a mensagens de texto enquanto arrumo a mala e me dirijo \u00e0 paragem do autocarro.
