Gerd.tv brings all of my newest films, talks, videos, keynote recordings, live-streams and explainers together in one place – free of charge (only email signup is required). I have been on YouTube since the very beginning, pretty much, and while it has been a fantastic ride, YouTube has recently stopped working well for me. It's time for something better. The YT algorithms now prioritize shorter, TikTok-style content over deeper, more involved or ambitious material (I guess that means my stuff:) – but even worse, many AI-fuelled copycats have been flooding YT with cookie-cutter content on many of my key topics.

As a result, my traffic has declined, and being discovered or gaining visibility has become even more difficult. Also, aside from YT, I do see a broader trend towards ‘AI eating the Internet' and the resulting dehumanisation reflected by severe prioritization of metrics and analytics above everything else (well… the #thebadfuture?) . So, while I will continue to post content on YouTube, all of my exclusive, new and more personal videos will now go live here first.

Here is what you can expect:

1) It is completely free: There is no charge to access my content. I only ask for your email address so that I can communicate with you directly and get your feedback, and I promise I will not spam you!

2) A dedicated, ad/algorithm-free and highly curated experience that features only my own content, allowing you to easily bookmark videos, save your viewing history, and navigate without distractions.

Soon, I will offer apps where you can descargar my videos, as well – For now, some tracks are already downloadable directly within the player.

3) !! Multilingual audio tracks !! Thanks to my partnership with @Rask_ai I can offer many of my videos with ES PT & DE audio overdubs; just change the audio player settings as you are watching. Plus, I have PDF downloads available for many videos (summaries, slides, essays etc).

While I may introduce premium features like classes and courses in the future, the overall platform will remain entirely free. Enjoy!
